P/o/rn-watcher.
I'm just like any other normal person, I watch po/r/n too.
Just that my po/r/n is more of the furniture sort, rather than human bodies. HAHAHA.
Do looking at these pictures make me orgasmic? No. But then who has an orgasm from watching p/o/rn? Wait.. Do they??
Ok let's not get into that.
Why I call it p/o/rn is coz they make me happy. They make me want to do that too. Hahaha. That's what p/o/rn-watchers feel right?
Ok. Let's look at more interior design pictures, they so make me swoon, and at the same time, breaks my heart because I cannot possibly incorporate all of these ideas into a tiny 4'A' flat. Haha.

I love this table! The un-even-ness, like it was made by your own self, in your free time, at the backyard (or rather, for us Singaporeans, at the void-deck, haha)

Look at that light! SO geram kan! So gorgeous, yet so simple!

All things India! I'm really excited to go India coz I heard they sell gorgeous fabrics there, which I so intend to buy to make cushions and curtains and bed-throws, and even sofa throws. Kashmir is totally for carpets and rugs.
It's quite worrying thinking how we are going to be able to buy all these stuff with the moolah that we have (um, NOT much, haha) but Insha'Allah we can do it! When you want something damn bad, the whole world helps you get it. (Quote from Madonna I think) Hahah.
The thing is, when I first pictured the layout of our house (mainly living & dining room) in my head, I was leaning more towards Scandanivian designs (lots of white and beige, but add abit of sudden colours.. and also London kitschy stuff, hehe, coz that's really cute).. but now with the India trip coming up, I am kindof thinking how do I mix that up? India + Scandinavian? Hahaha.
Indinavian deyyy.

We bought a hammock during our Bali trip, for the games room, but we don't have a place to put it. How luxurious it would be to be lying on a hammock in the house, with the wind blowing in, and you reading a book with a chilled Coke right beside you. Woohooo!

I wanted this kind of flooring for the house, but it's non-existent in Singapore eh??? We went for the cheaper alternative anyway, laminate, in almost-white. (although in pictures it comes off as beige-ish :(

I LOVE THE IDEA OF HANGING LAMPU KELAP-KELIP IN THE HOUSE! I mean, we usually hang them outside on windows and such.. but putting them on furniture in the house makes it so festive! Shall find a way to work this out somehow.

Do you see those stuff hanging right by the curtains edge? I WANT THAT. What is that? Where do we get it? Anyone with info, please share. Arigato.

Ok, most important of all. Anyone who knows of any links to any online stores or whatever selling prints? Please please please share! I dont want those "Keep Calm and Carry On" ones, I want something different... so please please please share if you know of any. I will invite you to my house for dinner if you share with me :)
Ok back to the house.
Honestly I was quite unprepared for how financially overwhelming it will be to own your first house. There are so many things that needs to be bought, that you kindof have to throw your fancy ideas to the back of your head for a moment.
I mean, those paintings that we bought in Bali? We can't go frame them now because we need the money for say, laundry stuff like Softlan and such. Haha. Especially now with the India trip coming up, I'm really trying hard to manage the cash properly. Haha.
So that is why pictures are not posted up yet. The house is still empty as in decor-wise. The walls are all white, waiting for stuff to be hanged on them. The floors are still bare, waiting for gorgeous rugs to lay on them. Only our toilets are fully stocked. But then, they also need a print on the walls, which is why no pictures of the toilets up yet too. Hahah.
My aim is to get it all pretty by June next year, Insha'Allah!
