14th december 2008. went to marina barrage with my wife's family plus relatives. was a fun outing, got to say. before i forget, we saw MM LEE. he is tall isn't he. but we weren't standing face to face. he was like about 100 metres away from me. i zoomed my camera till it cannot be zoomed anymore just to snap a few pics of him. haha.

oops. forget to introduce myself, i am majeen. by right my name is mazreen, and i want to be known as majee but my wife wanted majeen instead cos its nearer to mazreen, if it was majee, my name should be mazree. which i would not love my name to be.

anyways... my wife spoke about DSLR, it is becoming a fashion equipment isn't it. everyone owns one. but sometimes i wonder what do they do with it. i wanted to buy it n learn how to use it but there are like a million of singaporeans out there who owns it n like flaunting it. i don't even know if they know how to use it.

sad to say i don't have it cos i've got no money to buy it. let's face the fact. i'm saving for a trip to bali. if not i will be one of the ppl out on the road holding a DSLR and jalan2 amik gambar.

ok will take a picture of ppl who have DSLR this weekend and u guys judge if they are even suppose to have a DSLR. are they "POSER" or "DA REAL THANG" haha.

this is not the best pic as it was taken on top of a tong sampah using a timer. but it is nice isn't it? the background as in the sky, the grass...

i think it is. not DSLR yet guys. hahaha.

step 1 - mummy said, "ok nice nice, mummy sit where?". "here, here.(pointing o to my right)"

step 2 - click. 10 seconds. mummy run towards us and jump on baba. "ouch!!!" by that time its already 5 seconds. muka cramp and all kesakitan.



step 3 - action tak sakit n smile, for another 5 seconds just in case the pic is not taken yet... haha.

pic taken by an uncle who offered his services. i think his picture is better than the POSERS who carry a DSLR here n there. hahaha. btw the uncle was nice. we were like thinking on how to take a picture of us 3 person and like shy to ask ppl to take for us. our family members was not with us at this point of time. so this uncle come up to me and said "need my help?".

"sure why not?" i said.

he took the picture, and i thank him.

btw, 1 story need to be told. there is a guy using a DSLR with i don't know what lenses, it was so freaking long, i mea LONG... it was like 30 cm long lor the lense itself. he nearly knock kids off their feet everytime he turns around since he hung his DSLR on his neck... hahaha.
