this made me go abit crazy.
So now I'm on the hunt .. People, where can I find these sort of Padang food in Singapore???

Picture stolen off some Google Image thing. The Husband even suggested we go Batam for a daytrip just to eat Nasi Padang, but that's a bit TOO crazy isn't it? Haha. Like, you pay SGD50 per person for the ferry tickets, just to eat that??
Honestly if I'm damn rich I wouldn't mind. Hehee. But we aren't, so therefore we can't.
Before I went to Bali, I told the Husband that I wanted to eat these Nasi Padang - small plates of delicious food all laid out in front of you. Sadly the ones in Bali weren't really delicious, not the kind I've had elsewhere in Indonesia.
Back when I was much younger, I've always had traveller's diarrhoea, meaning my tummy can't really stomach local food. Serious cakap tak bedek. My first time in Bali was spent mostly in toilets. My trips to Medan and Padang were spent, sadly, mostly in the toilet too. I would devour the Nasi Padang (esp the rendang, woohoo) and the chicken, and then back to hotel and shit nonstop. Hahaha.
So. People. Where in SG can I find this?
(See, SG is so deprived. I've been reading LOTS of travelblogs, and everyone says SG is just a stopover state - living here can damage you permanently, and oh yeah baby I'm one example. Haha. We need to get out of here before it's too late.)
