I wasn't working last weekend (I work a 5.5day week alternate and sometimes on Sundays too) so we had an early start on our day. Supposed to meet our renovation contractor but we woke up a bit too late (like 9am instead of 830am) and our contractor cancelled the appointment since he has another appointment after that.

So we called up another contractor to meet, but he was onsite, so our meetups with the contractors didn't happen.

We still got all gussied up pretty (ok not much but you know what I mean) and went out, had brunch at LJS, and then we went to Arab Street, bought kain for hari raya, and then walked, WALKED, to suntec, which honestly wasn't that far lah.

I bought shoes for myself, and milk bottles for mybabyHyder, and then we walked at Harvey Norman at Millenia, which is having a massssive sale - washing machine for $289! (6.5kg / Samsung diamond drum - apparently this makes washing smoother?) Fridge for $489, 2 door, looks huge to me, haha. LG or something, and get this, it has CHILD LOCK!

We wanted to get it, but they can't store it up til Sept, so we had to give it a miss. Sungguh sedih.

42inch TV sets were going for $849 or something, so damn cheap lah. And it's new pulak tu, as in juuust launched in SG.

You all should go buy, seriously, if you need it lah.

Btw ladies and gentlemen, don't go into the staircase area at Millenia walk, hehehe. We got stuck in there after solat, the door won't open and we had to knock nonstop and shout and finally Mazreen heard footsteps and he said "Can you help us open the door please??" and a lady helped us. Hahah. She saved our lives lah!

I was getting a bit panicky and claustrophobic in there.. I was just about to tell Husband let's call the police or something, when that lady helped us, haha.

After we were saved (hee) we met up with my family at Seoul Garden Marina, my parents' treat. Saw a bit of fireworks after that, and then we went to JB Pandan to buy CDs and eat durian. Reached home at 1.30am, and we all slept in til 11am the next day.

U know there was that soccer match for Charmaine? (See sidebar) We thought it was at 7 or 8pm, so after Husband's soccer match we went home straight to bathe and such, and then nak siap lah. Sekali check online, it was at 5pm lah. Hahaha.

By then it was 6.15pm, so we just hung ard at home and then went out for dinner at Banquet.

So that was our weekend.

My baby is getting so big lah. Oh and I'm so fat. Sigh. But then, so is my husband, it's just that it's at night and he's wearing black.. so he blends in. Hahaha.
