Wowowowow.



If my house has a porch that overlooks this scenery, I will do anything I can just to stay home and sit there every single afternoon, and have my kid(s) run around play with sheeps and cows or something. Haha.

On a more realistic note, we have kindof found our reno contractor, Alhamdulillah. We have not yet finalised with him, but he came over to our new house yesterday and we discussed everything, and he has sent us a "final" quote, of which we still have a bit of revision to do...

But we like him, and he sounds good and reliable and like he knows what he's doing (as opposed to a few contractors we've met)

He is also the father of my husband's friend, and he is currently doing the house of a local celebrity right now (he keeps speaking of this celebrity like as if we know them personally, hahaha)

And last night before sleeping, we finally designed the kitchen properly on paper, and both of us love it, so yeah. Oh and we found a gorgeous table on sale online, which is exactly what we have in mind.. but it's all the way at Sungei Kadut and we have no time to go there this weekend, so we have to let that go and find other options later on.

Husband is very semangat and into DIY and wants to do a lot of stuff himself.. we are giving ourselves 2 months grace period after the reno and before we do any housewarming, so hopefully a lot can be done in between.

I hope all this works out Insha'Allah. I'm really excited and psyched that our plans are taking shape, that we finally found a contractor that we like, and it's KINDOF within budget. Hahaha.
