East Coast!

And so we went to East Coast Park yesterday, for some healthy activities, rather than always trawling malls, haha. Actually we've been planning this for quite some time, but never really found the time to do it, but yesterday we were quite free, therefore to East Coast we went!

Had lunch at the hawker centre at Marine Parade, and then another meal at KFC for Hyder (he was asleep when we were eating at the hawker centre)

Rented 2 bicycles at East Coast. One for me, and one with a babyseat for Husband & Hyder. Bicycle rental now so expensive! $6/hr for mine, and $10 for Husband, an hour only! It used to be $4 when I was in secondary school! Haha.

Hyder refused to sit on the bike at first, til he saw another kid sitting on another bike. Throughout our cycling expedition (HAHA) he was quite cranky, and we had to make many stops to calm him down. He had fun pointing out vessels on the sea though.

We took a water break and let Hyder run around a while. Played catching with him - he gets SO hysterical when people play catching or hide&seek with him, haha.

We returned the bikes after that, and bought a big bottle of mineral water, and then walked to the seaside, and did some kite-flying!

We bought the kite near the hawker centre at Marine Parade.. and it refused to go up! Husband was getting confused, because some other people had their kites flying way up high, and ours was still going sideways, haha, and he couldn't figure out why.

I love this picture (the one right above) Hyder walks away disappointed (complete dengan kepala tunduk) seeing that his father don't want to listen to his advice on how to fly kites. Hahaha. Actually I think he was fascinated by his own shadow.

Soon after, Baba realised the kite was actually spoilt! One of the wooden thingy was broken, so he ran off to buy another one (more expensive, and looks more impressive, therefore should be better!)

I love how Hyder was very into helping his Baba, he was quite busy yesterday, haha. While his Baba played with the kite, Hyder ran around his Baba's legs, even going BETWEEN them. Hahaha. CUTE.

Oh and he loves, LOVES, screaming and shouting into the sea, macam stress sangat gitu hidup dia!

He was scared of the sand though. He fell twice at the sand area and SCREAMED his head off, he just stood there paralysed, not able to even walk. Haha. The first time I ran off to carry him and wash his hands with water, the second time Baba had to do it. He was ok with grass, but not sand. So each time he would walk with face full of concentration on the sand.

Note how our kite is the biggest. That's because it's the nearest to the ground. Hahaha.

After kite playing, we sat around and changed Hyder's diapers, and then had a rest.

Hyder was getting sleepy, it was an hour past his nap time.

Went to Eastpoint for our dinner at Banquet, and then rested somemore at Starbucks.

That was nice, because Hyder was sleeping, so I took the time to read interior design magazines while Husband played mafia war.

Got home, and used my parents' Osim products. Those upapas are WONDERFUL. Thank you papas for working so hard on drumming my muscles. Haha.

So it was a good Sunday, I loved it SO much, and again, another thank you but this time to my Husband and Hyder for all the fun :)
