We had a good long weekend, since mine was particularly long - I took leave on 06.8 & 07.8, and I told the office I didn't want to be on duty on 10.8, so it was a 5day period of lovefest with my baby.
I didn't go out at all on Thursday, was just lolling around at home and watching endless "mao" (Mickey Mouse) DVDs.
Friday, Husband took halfday leave, and after his prayers, we went to DTE and watched this movie.

The old man was SO cute, so adorable, and the whole story was so sweet. Oh and I love the cloud cartoon before the actual movie - SO geram ok.
After the movie, we went to Tampines to buy a hp for Husband.
Oh there was this
lady woman who wore undies to TM. Like seriously undies. Cotton pants that were so short it was only covering half her buttcheeks, and I can't remember what top she was wearing, haha.
And she was with her husband and child (I assume la) and talking loudly in Malay about where to eat. I was REALLY embarassed, even though it wasn't me and I don't even know her, haha.
Saturday saw us at the airport, aimlessly walking around. It was SO hot, and we just needed an airconditioned place to faint in.
Plonked our butts down at Starbucks for a few hours, reading (Catherine Alliot's new book is out!) and surfing the net. After a few hours, I suddenly got hit by onslaught of flu germs, and desperately needed a rest, so Husband suggested home, where we all slept in til maghrib.
Sunday saw us at One Fullerton Starbucks. We were there from 2pm! Just to catch fireworks! Haha. Had to admit our seats were damn good, and we had 2 friendly girls sitting next to our table. While everyone was crowding outside on the pavement, we were very calm at our Starbucks table, HAHA. (Til Asif got lost, and Aisyah had to go find him, but that's a whole different story.)
Btw thank you Achip for the Mcdonalds meal! Will pay you back when we meet you again, hehe =D
My dad and Aisyah took lots of pictures, which I will post up soon.
The fireworks were gorgeous, but too short lah. Guess the government is feeling the pinch too, haha. Hyder LOVES the fireworks, he clapped hands once it went silent again, and went KABOM (even til now, haha)
Monday saw us at Pasir Ris park, wanting to fly kites, but there was no wind at all, so we drove on down to East Coast Park after that. Liza and Husband got one kite waaaay up high til there was no more string, and the other kite we loaned to a kid who played it with her mom.
I wasn't feeling too good so I just sat on the mat with Hyder, who was enjoying his snacks.

Had dinner at Oohlala - wasn't good, as usual. I have NO idea why it's popular. WE SO NEED AHBENG BACK!
Tuesday saw me at work. The long weekend is over.
