I wasn't sure whether I should blog about this here or on my own personal blog, because that blog is more about religion and such. So I decided to keep it here since this is more family-oriented, haha.

There was a poll on this site - Who do you consider when deciding on another child?

This is a topic that I've talked at length with some people, of course Husband included.

Just in case you are wondering, my answer is Hyder. No one else is as important when considering that, haha.

This is crazy but my maternal clock (is that the right term for me?) is ticking damn badly. I already have the cutest boy, Masha'Allah, but there's this crazy thing in me that SO wants another one soon - cute cuddly vulnerable helpless mushy blob of love.

When I see babies outside, I just go weak in the knees a bit, and ohhhh baby you are shooo cute I wanna bite you!

BUT, we have the house coming up, and I do realise we need to settle down there first, especially financially, since a house, OUR OWN HOUSE!, is something totally new to us and we cannot fathom yet the costs of running one.

Plus, I've discussed with Husband, we KINDOF agreed to try again once Hyder is around 3.5 years old, Insha'Allah.

My inner monster goes "THAT IS 2 YEARS AWAY!" Heheh.

But the rational part knows that Hyder is still too young to be a big brother. He needs to feel the attention and love and all that from us first, before we can let him be a big brother.

In fact a few days ago I asked him, "Hyder nak adik?"

And he shook his head and said "Nak Abang!"

Hahaha. He totally doesn't get the concept of childbirth.

I know he doesn't really get what he's saying sometimes - shaking his head and answering negatively doesn't mean he doesn't want someone to play with, or rather a baby to boss around, HAHA. I tell ya, that boy is so bossy like his father.

But I also do know that he LOVES the attention we give him. That his grandparents and aunts give him too.

Having another kid now will spoil that for him eh? Haha.

Anyway, this is just something from my most innermost thoughts lah. We aren't trying or anything - I'm still on the pill.

But that doesn't stop me from WANTING ONE SO BADLY now.
