Mazreen here and it has been a long time since i last did a post. So, now i am going to write a post about "numbers". Hehe. Makes me sound clever isn't it? Haha.

Here we go. Number 9, it is a very special number. My wife love this number because Abbas Saad used to wear this number while playing in Malaysia Cup. Hahaha.

Moving on. About the speciality of number 9. 9 if multiplied by any numbers will get a product number, and when the numbers are added back together it will comes back to 9 again. See a few examples below.

1) 9 x 2 = 18 - take 1 + 8 = 9

2) 9 x 113 = 1,017 - take 1 + 0 + 1 + 7 = 9

3) 9 x 1,234 = 11,106 - take 1 + 1 + 1 + 0 + 6 = 9

4) 9 x 53,257 = 479,313 - take 4 + 7 + 9 + 3 + 1 + 3 = 27 - take 2 + 7 = 9

5) 9 x 9,521,365 = 85,692,285 - take 8 + 5 + 6 + 9 + 2 + 2 + 8 + 5 = 45 - take 4 + 5 = 9

So, all the numbers that is multiplied by 9 and u add back all the numbers together, u will get 9.

Impressive right this number 9.

Actually, when i talk about numbers i wanted to talk more about the numbers of foreigners in Singapore, not number 9. Just read news that is bothering me. The numbers of foreigners are 1.25million, and now Singapore is holding 4.99 million people. 25% of the people in Singapore are foreigners. I won't be shocked if in 10 years time, the percentage of foreigners are on par with the number of Singaporeans.

Btw, 75% which is 3.74 million of Singaporeans are made out of 3.2 million truly Singaporeans, the 0.54 million are consist of PRs(permanent residents).

The numbers are affecting us, as Singapore is named the multi-racial country which consist of Chinese, Malay and Indian. Not a multi-national country which consist of Malaysians, Filipinos, PRC, India Nationals, Sri Lankan, Europeans and so on so forth. I've got nothing against them, it's just the number of Singaporeans are decreasing and the number or Foreigners coming in are rising.

This affect the job opportunity for locals, the pricing of house are also being pushed up due to their arrival, places are being filled with foreigners and less space for us, buses and mrt are more crowded and so on so forth.

I hope that someone will do something about this. Not restrict Foreigners from coming in, but at least have a quota of less than hundred thousands of foreign workers (not milions of them), only open job opportunity to foreigners when Singaporeans does not want it.

I am sure that Singapore have a way to track down who is working and who is not. From there, they can help by informing them, on job opportunities. I think this is getting out of control. Therefore i am not going to talk anymore about this.
