Foreign Talents... Sounds good professional right. Nowadays, we have so many foreign talents in our homeland. We should thank the people who brought them in.

Foreign talents are slowly taking up our jobs. It would not bother me if we the citizen of this country gets the better treatment like :- paying less tax, more rebate on houses, increase of salary, priority goes to locals and so on so forth. But we are treated equal or sometimes lower, jobs are given to them instead. Since they have no family here and they will be more committed to the job and give 100% and also be paid less.

Why we want a higher salary and why didn't we give 100% to the job???
1) We have family here and we need to have time for them. Govt encourages more children, but think about it, what is children if their parents are working for most of the time? Working nine to five +/- at most one hour for a normal job :- means u are spending 8 to 9 hours at work, we go out 1hour earlier cos the traffic sucks, even public transport is crowded and we reach home about 6plus 7 in the evening. We only got 2 or max 3 hours to spend with our kids and then off to sleep for a hectic working day again tomorrow.
2) We need bigger salary because the prices of food, electricity, water, gas, rice, eggs, fish, meat are getting pricier, not cheaper. The house that we live in need to be paid. It is not cheap, it is hundreds of thousand, and it is no joke. With the cost of a 4room HDB flat, can get me a landed property together with garage and garden at NZ near to its CBD area.

Locals did not get priority, we are like at the same level as foreigners or even lower.

Now we have, foreign delivery drivers, foreign salesperson, foreign frontline service personnel, foreign football player, foreign table tennis player, foreign olympian, foreign nurses, foreign operators, foreign office worker and lots more. I am just waiting for the time when they will employ foreign policeman, foreign army personnel, foreign fire fighter and sooner or later, maybe we could even vote them to be our minister or even president, since they can be paid less and work more. Maybe this can be a way to help spend less on state money.
