In Hyder's world, Mcdonalds is Kob-liang. Fries is din-din. If he wants us to take his picture, he goes "ahnnn choooo cheee! Mile!" (One two three! Smile!) He knows how to use Husband's blackberry and my dad's N97 to take pictures. Yes even pictures of himself.. he'll turn it around to make the camera face him, and press the button.

Yesterday morning, he chose for us our work clothes. I had to wear my purple F21 top, and Husband had to wear a striped purple shirt. We looked like barney on the bike. Haha.

This morning he waved us bye when we were going to work, shouting from the 3rd floor "Bye Mama! Bye Baba! Bye car-bike!"

Carbike is motorbike. There's car, car-bike, and car-plane (aeroplane) Haha.

He likes us to sing nursery rhymes to him before he sleeps...

"Tar!" (twinkle-twinkle little star)
"Kaka!" (2 little dicky birds, sitting on a wall)

... and many more.

He's very friendly, goes "Hi! Pren! Hi!" to random people in shops. But when we are in lifts or small areas, he'll just stare and stare.. and then he'll go "bye! tik ki!" (take care!)

Yesterday we were at the DIY shop at Eastpoint B1, and Hyder was 'talking' to the salesgirl, making his usual baby talk. The salesgirl asked me, what is he saying?

I replied, "that's how he talks at home too.. he's telling a story or something, haha. Sometimes I just copy what he says and he'll continue on somemore."

So Hyder talked again in full seriousness, and the salesgirl parroted him, doing baby talk too.

Hyder looked at her, and SMIRKED. Like, "omg what language are YOU talking in?? I so don't get it."

And then he walked off. Hahaha.

He names his pillows "Quite Big", "Quite Small" and "Quite Smelly" ... except that he goes "Quite Big", "Quite Maw" and "Quite Meah" Hahah.

He's now drinking Gain IQ in the mornings and night, and once in the afternoon, and some Pediasure in between. Quite a fussy eater nowadays.. he LOVES snacking, LOVES fries, LOVES milkshake, and chocolate cookies too. But rice, noodles, spaghetti.. he'll just take a few spoonfuls and he's done. Oh and he likes ayam too.

He'll ask for "ongkok" before we solat, and he'll help us put the sejadah and telekong and kain in the box after we solat. Has his own sejadah and songkok, and prays maghrib with us on weekdays, and weekends he'll do whatever prayers we do if he's not napping.

Of course he'll lose concentration like 10 seconds into the prayer and start walking around, or playing with his sejadah, or sometimes he'll disturb us, but it's ok, at least he's on it. Haha.



Very cheeky, very friendly, very helpful, very adorable, very manja, and very loved. That's my baby Hyder :)
