Woah. Super sorry for the.. what, 10 days of not blogging. Had a super tiring start to November, painting and setting up the house for the move-in, and then Hyder got a high fever last week, and I was on leave for 3 days to attend to him.
That was quite a difficult time, he was really weak and refused to eat or drink,
just wanted milk at random moments, was super clingy and whiny. Alhamdulillah now he's much better. No, in fact he's all healed. No fever, nothing, and back to his normal appetite, wanting to eat fries and drink "ah-per ju" (apple juice) forever.
Thursday and Friday had me at work, trying hard to concentrate but failing badly. I'm really bad at juggling many things at one go, like 2 important things in my life (you know, moving house, and working, haha) I tried hard to do work perfectly, but sadly made quite a few mistakes, and argghh that will so affect the bonus that I *NEED* for this year.
Friday night, we were damn busy packing and packing and packing, and dismantling the bed and Hyder's cot. Slept at 2am. Woke up at 7.30am, resumed a bit of packing (you know, the last minute stuff like contact lenses and deodorant and such, haha) and at 9, Abg Aim came over, and soon after Asif also reached, and the mover's lorry was also downstairs, so everyone started carrying everything.
By 12pme were done and everything was already at our new home! Ikea also delivered the things, and soon after Courts came, and then we hung up the curtains (which turned out to be totally useless - material was too thin! haha)
Had dinner at Swensens at celebrate Liza's birthday at night, and then back to the new house to sleep! FIRST NIGHT! Hahaha. Super cool ah.
So yesterday we had lunch at Hjh Maimunah with my family, and then we went to Giant to get stuff for the house, and goodness, ladies and gentlemen who aren't yet staying in your own homes, please start saving up for the little things.
I mean, you save up for fridge and TV and such, but those tiny things are the ones that will kill you. Sepit baju, softlan, toothpaste and such. Spent $500 on that - totally crap considering they are SO small kan. Hahaha.

Yep, all those plastic bags and the internals cost $500. But on the bright side, we now can do laundry at home! Haha.
Oh, we also bought a SUPER CHEAP luggage bag for our trip in December. SUPERSUPER CHEAP! Can you see where all the Giant plastic bags are in? All stuffed into that luggage bag! My husband is really clever at packing!
So, guess how cheap the luggage bag is???
SGD22 only!!! Hahahaha. Yes, you read that right, two two only!
Of course it's of super bad quality lah, but who cares, coz the place we going to, is the country where they make Samsonites, and my cousin who had been there before said he bought a huge Samsonite for below $200, when in SG they selling it for $500++. So we are going to use this bag to go, and then once we get a Samsonite, we'll throw this one away.
Let's hope and pray it doesn't break open halfway. Hahaha.

This is where we are going in December, Insha'Allah. Yes, I'm just as shocked as you are that India has such thick snow, and even a ski resort, haha. That's in Kashmir.

So yeah, India and Kashmir, for 9 days. Will be staying in these houseboats above also, for 4 nights, which honestly is freaking me out a bit (ok bedek. I mean A LOT) because I hate huge spaces of water.. it freaks me out.
I also cannot pee (or poo) whenever I'm on a ferry or whatever, because I'm scared a fish will jump out of the toilet bowl or something, or I will be sucked down into the sea (yes, through the toilet bowl. DON'T LAUGH. fears are always irrational kan!)
So this is freaking me out a bit ah, but other than that, I'm really looking forward to it! Ski-ing! Playing with snow! INDIA! I've wanted to go India for the loooongessst time! I remember planning with MazeeMary&Farah to go India before my wedding - starting with Mumbai and then heading down to Delhi and even Goa and whatever. Sadly it didn't happen. Haha.
So on top of moving in and arranging our new house and such, we also have to find time (and money!) to buy sweaters and longjohns and earmuffs and ski jackets. Aisyah my darling sister also bought for us 3 sisters BOOTS from Australia when she went last week! Furry calf length boots that are SO gorgeous! TERIMA KASIH ESAH!
Everything's really exciting and hehe, I'm so excited! Heheheh. Alhamdulillah things are going well (except for this work thing which I'm screwing up a bit! ARGH! Gotta to put in 100% at work now!)
Oh we cannot cook this whole week because they will only install the gas thing (city gas?) on Saturday. I AM VERY SEMANGAT because I have garam and such already! Tapi takper, now got more time to find recipes. Hehehe.
Ok that's all for now. BACK TO WORK! Have a good week ahead people!
ps - HAPPY (belated) BITHDAY TO MY DARLING MAZEEEEEE!!!!
