We seem to blog on a weekly basis, and I apologise for that, because I know how irritating it is to go over to a blog and see that it's not updated.

Husband is away on reservist. Started yesterday, and ends next Friday. Before I start talking about this whole reservist crap, let me share first that he is doing this reservist thing with Syeddy! OF ALL PEOPLE IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD! Hahahaha. What a small world, and oh how cute.

Anyway. Reservist. IT'S SO ANNOYING AH. Totally screws up our lives. GERAM TAU. I have to take the train to (and from) work while he does reservist, I have to send Hyder in the morning alone, and walk home alone.

I am spared from sleeping alone though, but I believe it's not for long, because next week he has to go to some jungle for 2 nights. Which means I have to pack up and move to my parents' house, because I have not gotten used to being with just Hyder in our not-so-new house at night.

So, to make my life less miserable, my husband gave me an early birthday present. He actually bought it last Friday before going for solat Jumaat coz that's the only day we don't lunch together, and kept it under his work table over the weekend.

I received an agnes b pen on Friday night - that's Part 1 of the birthday present. He said Hyder got 2 presents, so it's only fair I get two too. Hehehe.

Honestly I was kindof disappointed to receive an agnes b PEN. Who wants a pen? I want the bag. Hahaha.

So over the weekend I kept asking and asking what's Part 2, but he won't tell at all. I guessed that it was either a bag or Seven jeans. Hehehe. He kept saying I was wrong.

So Monday I met him for lunch, and he came carrying the agnes b paperbag.



I was SO excited I didn't salam and we didn't go for lunch first. I opened the present and was SO happy lah. Hehehe. I'm not a materialistic person at all, I actually asked for a holiday, but he said that's wayyyy too overbudget. So I didn't ask for anything else, but I did hint that a present would be nice, but no need expensive ones lah.

I didn't think he would really get me the agnes b bag. Hehehe. I'm SO SUPER happy I tell you.

Of course I used it the next day. I had to take the train, remember?

We are doing some stuff on my birthday, I'm not sure exactly what, he said it's all a big surprise. Hehe. So now I have to think of some surprises for his birthday, and also presents.

Oh, and an upcoming trip in May! PENANG! Newly-opened Hard Rock Hotel! Jetstar! 99cents each ticket, ALL IN! Insha'Allah it will all work out. I'm currently doing research on where to find the best halal kway teow goreng.

Ohh, and a Tampines Primary gathering! AT OUR HOUSE! HOW COOL IS THAT! Haha. Event is organised by Adilah. It's on 20 Feb 2010 (Sat) 5pm to 9pm. More details can be found at Facebook. Bring your spouse, partner, kids, maids, whoever. Kids especially are very welcomed - Hyder has a playroom but not many friends his age has visited yet. Haha.

Best news of the day - Hard Rock at Sentosa is currently priced at $200 per night. (Normal price will be $400 I think) Promo ends on 27th Jan. GO GO GO!
