The best thing about having your own house, I think, is being able to do ANYTHING you want, without bothering what others might say. Like sleeping in til 11am on a workday.

This morning I took halfday morning (off, not leave, so it's ok, haha) and slept in. Husband had woken up way earlier for work, so it was just the 2 of us. Cuddled and rolled around the bed and KISSSSSED my baby like mad. Coz we can't kiss him when he's asleep apparently. Haha. As advised by Dr Fadzilah Kamsah, who said kissing kids when they are asleep, makes them stubborn.

Anyway, my baby's getting very vocal. I think it's the side effect of turning 2, haha. We ask him to bathe, he'll go "Tak payah. Ok mummy? Tak payah." Hyder nak makan? "Tak payah." And endless bedtime stories, TOLD BY HIM. Not by us. Hahaha. And we have to sit while he tells his stories (usually about water, and how it gushes down from the ceilings and random stuff are fishes or something.. haha)

Last Saturday we brought him out to Orchard, after not going there for a gazillion months. No worries, Orchard is still boring like mad, and full of irritants. And worse of all, nothing for kids to enjoy.

Anyway after everything, we went to KFC, and this was what my son did, while I and Husband were busy talking about other things.

He poked a few fries onto the whipped potato. I didn't get it at first, I asked him what he's doing. Then he said "Mummy, sing birthday!"

So I sang a birthday song.

He looked on to the cake like it's his birthday cake, haha.

And then he used the spoon as a knife, to cut the cake. HOW CREATIVE IS THAT!!! I was blown away by his imagination, and kept telling the story to anyone who would listen. And now I'm blogging about it so you all will know also. Hehehe.

Tonight we shall be joining Esah&Asif at Simpang Bedok, where she will treat us to endless plates of PPP - Putu Piring Power. Hahah. Seriously the Putu Piring there is SUPERRRR sedap. Lots of inti (filling?) and very soft and lovely ah seriously. Sold by the guy in a chef uniform and long hair.

Anyway congrats Yano & Erma on the arrival of your princess Elys Nayla! Not sure if you will read this, but it's ok. Haha. I love squishy babies so much! Apparently Hyder had fun visiting the baby yesterday - giggled whenever she cried, haha.

Oh, and this morning he said very confidently, "Dada (my father) adik Jilia (my sister)"

He got his relations all confused. Hahaha.
