. . . Maulidur Rasul & Haul Shaykh Abdul Qader Al Jailani . . .
Saturday went to KL with the guys from Ust Abu Zaki class. It was a very good experience and learnt quite a number of stuffs.
At 6 plus in the morning, went out and walked to Ust's void deck. The meeting time was at 7am. Managed to reach on time. i was the 2nd person to arrive. Ghazali was the first. He thot everyone has left him behind because when he reach, no one was there.
Soon, everyone started coming and the crowd gets bigger. Bigger crowd and my enthusiasm grew even bigger. This is my first ever trip to such events out of singapore. i am quite nervous and feel kind of out of place.
All in all, the journey started well. We move out about 7.30am and make our way by 2nd link. The traffic was moving quite smoothly. We stopped at Gelang Patah rest area and took breakfast. i ate nasi lemak cos i was wearing white and i am afraid that if i makan mee rebus, mee siam or lontong the gravy might spill to my baju... Haha.
After eating, we make our way to Jejantas rest area for the 2nd stop. It was my first time there. There is KFC, A&W and loads of shops. Walk around abit and discussed where to go since we are quite early for the event. So after the discussion we decided to go to
PutraJaya.
We solat our Zuhur and Asar prayers at
Masjid Putra and took our lunch at the nearby foodcourt.
Below is the pic of the Masjid which i google and take online. i didn't bring any camera except my phone, so did not capture any pictures.

After lunch, we make our way to
Masjid Negara. The picture below i got online too.
This was wher the Maulidur Rasul/Haul Sheikh Abdul Qader Al-Jailani was held.
The event was attended by more than 20,000 people all across Malaysia, with guests from Singapore, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia and loads more.
They said, when the Ulama is being loved, the number of people who remembers them is so huge, it just shows how the event was blessed with the number of people who came, overseas Scholars, Ustaz, Mufti and Habaib to light up the event . SUBHANALLAH.
The crowd you can see picture below. i got it from Shaykh Afeefudeen Al-Jailani Twitter pic. Btw, i am in that picture but my back is facing the camera. Haha. Fyi, the first row consist of all the Ulama, Habaib, Mufti, Ustaz, Shaykh and Sultan of Malaysia which stretch from one end to another.
After the event ended, we went out and look see some items that they are selling outside, i got a jubah and i got for my wife an eyeliner.
It is a truly amazing trip and i enjoyed and loved it so much. i just hope that the whole thing last for abit longer and also hope that i could have gone with my small family. i really miss them when i was there. If they were there with me, the feeling would be different and they can experience the event first hand.
ADDED AS OF 17:08 May 18th 2010.
Below are some pictures that i got from my friend who went for the trip with me.

The last picture, a Japanese guy wanted to join our photo taking session, so Ust invited him to join. He seems to be very happy and his wife said Terima Kasih(in Japanese slang).
