I used to be a Fan of Liverpool and am very proud of them when they won games and such.

Like any other fan i will be looking forward to the next season, who they are going to buy, what are their sponsor going to be, what jersey are they going to wear, the colour of their away jersey, what is their next target and the list goes on...


But after much thinking about these things a few months if not years, i feel like it is kind of stupid to love a team so much without getting any love in return. The team will not visit u when u are sick, the players will not share what they earn, the manager don't even care if u are alive or dead, the owners just want to make money out of the ticket and merchandise sales. That's all. And we are here dying to support them and quarreling who the better team amongst friends.

Weird isn't it?

No offences to those ppl who supports what ever team that is out there, eg:- Liverpool, Tampines Rovers, Blackburn, Kashima Antlers, Selangor, Pelita Jaya, Inter Milan, Barcelona, LA Galaxy, or any other clubs in this world.

All this is my personal point of view. I think it is not worth to praise a team so much because like i said, i was a fan of Liverpool and i did not get anything out of their winnings. And worst, when they win, they get drunk and they go on to party. We here are supporting them to win so that they can party till they get drunk??? In a way we are already Subahat with their acts??? Or are we not? Correct me if i am wrong.

To watch for the fun of it, to me is ok but to the extend of being a fan and proud of them is no longer an option for me. I watch football but i don't care who wins and who loses. It does not bring any benefit to me and to my family. So i quit being a fan and i watch football for the fun of it.
