Hyder and Ramadhan.
After last night's terawih -
Me : "Hyder, come take off your baju." (he was wearing a jubah)
Hyder : "No mummy. I nak jadi Ustaz."
Me: "... Hyder, even Ustaz pakai pajamas when they sleep at night."
My boy is growing up waaay too fast. He's talking a lot now (although he says them in his own way sometimes — skipping rope is ping-kee-yobe / escalator is esta-caytle.. haha)
Oh, and he fell in love for the first time last night.
As told on twitter -
Hyder fell in love w/ arab lady who stood next to me lastnight at masjid kassim for terawih. he kept lookg at her, smiled shyly...

It was really cute, but very alarming considering I'm his mother, and I have always envisioned that I will choose his wife for him when he's of the right age. No way am I going to let him date, or even call girls when he's all grown up, and yet now.. NOW! at the tender young age of 2.. TWO!!! ... he's doing kissy sounds to girls?!
Macam nak pengsan pon ada. Haha.
Anyway, moving on. Will be doing iftar & terawih at Masjid Sultan on Friday, and Masjid Al-Falah on Saturday, Insha'Allah. Who wanna join? I have never buka puasa at masjid before lah, in my whole entire life, so I'm really shy. Heheh. Kalau ada kawan, not so bad kan.
(Terawih at Masjid Sultan on Friday - and a short ceramah after witir - led by Ustaz Abu Zaki, Insha'Allah. Masjid Al-Falah, as per previous post, prayers will be led by Ustaz Shukri Ali. Seriously you all gotta hear his voice.)
It'll be more cool if you have kids of Hyder's age.. so he has a friend lah at the masjid.
Oh this gendutboy, he told his baba he wants to go Masjid Sultan ajer. Don't want Masjid Kassim, please. Haha, so ititating (his word again.)
Lastly. We already found our containers for kuehs. Got them at Taka, cheap2 jer, only $11 for the small ones, and about $15 for the bigger ones. There were a few others that we liked, but it costs like $38 for a small bottle?! Tak perlu lah mahal-mahal.
As Husband would say, "bukannya benda tu boleh bawak kita gi syurga." Hahah.
