3 weeks without any posts! Excuse that please, for it was IS syawal, and we've been busy visiting relatives and having guests over at our house.. FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER!
It was cool, entertaining people at our house. We kept having to buy bottles of Pokka, because we totally underestimated how many people were willing to come over .. we are humble like that, HAHA. Initially we only bought FOUR bottles of Pokka, and 3 types of kueh (plus one more from Asif's mom but we didn't put them out because that's only for our consumption, just like Nenek's kueh tart. Hehe)
Pictures of guests are at our FB page, but not all are there because in the midst of talking and serving and having fun, we totally forgot about our camera.
The camera which died soon after, but that's another story for another day. We have since bought another new camera on a shopping expedition that we looked forward to like mad, hahaha.
So Syawal is almost over. MM Lee's wife has passed away. My Nenek is warded in CGH, my FIL was just discharged from CGH last week, Aidiladha is coming soon, and then Hyder's bday! And then Husband's reservist, and then my birthday, and then his birthday, and our wedding anny, and that will be March 2011 already.
We are going to KL next week, Insha'Allah. Have booked the hotels - first night good ol' Capitol, 2nd night Melia, because we have to find something fun for Hyder to do and since Melia is only SGD1 more expensive than Capitol, we took that for the 2nd night.
We are super excited, but super nervous too. Haha. As I'm typing this, I'm having butterflies in my tummy - macam as if I can meet him personally and talk like that! Hahahah. But I'm hoping and praying Hyder and Husband gets to hug and salam him, Insha'Allah.
Am reading Dorothy Koomson's Marshmellows for Breakfast. Super boring ah, but I have nothing else to read, so I'm forcing myself to finish this book. Catherine Alliot's new book is out. Read online that Jodi Picoult's new book will be out next year Jan.
Super bored ah. Someday we will have a more interesting post ok.
