This morning at around 7.00am, i was in kitchen listening to Maher Zain's song(thanks to wife's iPhone), while i was preparing food to bring to work for me and wife. Suddenly, i heard the room door opening together with footsteps coming towards me... i thought it was my wife who wanted to ask what i was doing...

Then i walked to wards the hall to take a peek when i saw my beloved son coming to the kitchen asking me, "baba, buat ape?(baba, what are u doing?)"... I replied, "dengar lagu Maher Zain.(Listen to Maher Zain song)"... Then he said he wanted milk, but he wanted milk not from his bottle but instead he wanted to drink from the McD's cup which my mother(which Hyder calls Nyayi) gave him...

So i made for him half cup full... He drank in one breath. I assumed that he is thristy and asked, " u want some more?"...
He replied, "yes"... so i made another half cup...
This time he drank a bit slower. He took a few sips and said it was too warm for him and requested me to cool it off... i took the cup and added a bit of normal temperature water and hand it over to him. he finished the whole cup.
Sensing that he is very thristy, i asked again if he wanted some more... He requested for more... i made for him again... this time he cheekily took it and sip a few times and said that he don't want it anymore due to the warmth of the milk... He wanted it to be cold... At that time, the milk is colder than the second milk. So i roughly know that he didn't want it anymore so i didn't push him to drink it...

Then we went to the room and made him lay in bed for a while and i took a shower. Before that i asked if he wanted to wash up before going to his grandma's house, he said "yes"... so after i finish my shower, i prepared for him a bucket full of warm water...

Mummy took her shower before Hyder... So it gives me time to lay down in bed for a few minutes listening to "Ya Nabi Salam Alaika from Hijjaz" with my beloved son... Another good song to begin a Jumaat full of Barakah, Insha'Allah...

After dearest wife finished, i wash Hyder up and dearest wife helped with clothing him...

This morning was a bit special for Hyder... He woke up early, drank milk, listen to qasidah, showered, got ready and raring to go, but it seems like there is something missing... So we asked him if he wanted to ride his motor-generated bike(courtesy of Tok Bani for his 2nd b'day)... He happily said, "YESSSSSS!!"

So this morning he took his bike there... In his enjoyment, we the parents suffered... Hahha. We got to bend down to guide him, convince him to press on the accelerator, walk slower than normal and we reached work slightly late for a day that we went out early...

All in all it was worth the effort n sweat...

My beloved son, just so u know.... We love u so much... It will crush our hearts if u never pray to our creator Allah and listen to His commands, it will make us cry if u never follow the footsteps of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad PBUH, it will make us sad if u never respect the elderly...

I pray that Allah will guide me and my dearest wife to bring u up the best Islamic way possible... Ya Allah please help us and guide us into bring up our son in the best way, please make him be a good muslim and a practising muslim who obeys ur command and follow the guidance set by our Beloved Prophet Muhammad PBUH... Amin Ya Rabbal Alamin.....................................
