My mom called me last Tuesday, asking if I and Husband were working on Saturday. We weren't working, so my mom asked if we wanted to drive up to Malacca.

That was quite sudden, and frankly we weren't interested, because, although we were free on Saturday, we already had LOTS of plans on Sunday, like the picnic with my darlingfriends, and also 2 maulids. By Thursday however my husband said nevermind, we will just go Malacca because family's more important than anything else, hehe. So on Thursday night, Abg Aim booked rooms for us, and we were off to go on Friday night.

Turns out there were 5 cars total driving up. I thought there were only 2, or 3 cars - Abg Aim, my parents, and maybe Esah's car if my dad wanted us to drive. But Abg Aim's brother & family also went - so add one car, and Mak Ita, my aunt, also went. So total of 5 cars, and we used walkie-talkies to coordinate and communicate during our journey.

That was so kecoh tau. I didn't know how to use the walkie-talkie honestly, so all I did was say "Roger that!" mcm in the movies liddat! Hahhaa. I warmed up soon after though, and since we were the middle car, I would be the one to repeat whatever messages that were transmitted - like, "move to the left, fast car approaching on right!" and "Abdul Rahim please maintain speed!" Hahah, it was really fun. We used the walkie-talkies even during shopping, oh also at McDonalds, even though we were seated near to each other lah. Hahah damn annoying.

We reached Malacca about 1am. Checked in to Kings Hotel, which is at Ayer Keroh. We didn't go to the Bandar at all - actually the purpose of going Malacca was just to go to Melaka Wonderland (Water Theme Park) on Saturday. Haha, semangat or whatttt. Took 2 apartments (each apartment with 3 rooms)





The next day, had breakfast at the hotel, which was yummeh. Filled up, and then drove to the theme park which was really near actually, about 10 mins drive away. Not a lot of people, so that was a plus. Toilets were VERY clean, veryvery surprising. The rides were CRAZEEEEEE fun!

Ok this coming from a person whose last waterthemepark visit was to Fantasy Island, haha, but seriously, it was so fun! I had on my turtle suit (those muslimah swimwear yg SUPER tak glam, but Husband won't let me swim if I don't wear that, so ok lah. Wait, I know some people say it's not Islamic at all, coz it's still tight, but let's save the debate for later.) We bought for Hyder new swimwear at the shop inside, and Husb pon tumpang gembira beli baju baru, which was the same as Asif and Haliza's baju also. Hahah.





Played with Hyder at the kids area first, went down a slides with him. This boy quite daring, he tried a few slides himself, and came up sputtering water and then went "I NAK LAGI!" At one point of time he went on a slide for almost 20 times. Til the last one he went down too fast and knocked his head accidentally. Cried. Wanted to stop. Bathed. And slept. And that left his parents to go crazee on the rides pulak, hahah. We took the pendulum and that was SUPER crazee, I know I'm using the word crazee ALOT, but oh la la that was crazee. Hahaha. My heart felt like it seriously went flying out to the sky or something, hahaha. Took that ride 4 times.



Also tried the Kamikaze Racer, which was the same as Subarashee on Fantasy Island (does anyone else have fond memories of Fantasy Island like I do??!! Or am I the only nostalgic one here??! Hahaha) but it feels slower and a couple of people hurt themselves here - Abg Aim's toe bleed, Husband's baju tore off near the sleeve, and something happened to Abg Amy but I can't remember what.

After the waterplay, we cleaned up and then tried the ATV racing. We took the couple "car" coz I was wearing jubah and didn't want to drive, plus I was holding the camera. Wati and Asif took the ATV motorbike thing, Aisyah took a single car too. RM20 for 4 rounds, ok lah. Haha.







Asif and Aisyah both had a collision with the tyres, while Wati's motorbike just stopped suddenly. Ours Alhamdulillah went just fine, and we got 7 rounds total, haha.







Went back to hotel after all this, slept, and went to McDonalds for dinner. Dunno where else to go lah coz Ayer Keroh mcm quite ulu liddat.

The next day, McDonalds AGAIN, and walked around the bazaar there, and then drove back to JB where everyone wanted to shop at Bt Indah, and then back to SG. Reached safely around 8pm, Alhamdulillah.



McDonalds letak bunga at our meja. Sweet or what. Hahah. And that toy that Husb is holding up, he letak the stickers such that it's reading "M" and "n" -- Mazreen and Nurshida ah konon. Haha.



Considering that it was a trip we didn't even really want to go, we had TONS of fun ah. Hahah.

ps - yes, we put on lots of weight. we are considerably (much) fatter than the last time we put up our pictures on this blog. Hahahahaha.
