We were in the car on the way to my mom's place yesterday, around 6.19pm - we were on the main road near the mrt depot at tanah merah. Husband had a work survey before fetching me, and he bought nuggets meal from mcdonalds for our drive home (mana tak gemok, hah!)

And then my handphone rang. It was from my mom's phone. I turned to the suami, and I had a weird feeling, and said, "It's mama. I don't like this."

It was exactly the same last Monday, when Tinda passed away. 6.23pm, at that main road, we were both eating nuggets from mcdonalds, Husband had a survey before fetching me.

"Ida, Cik Milah dah meninggal" my mom said yesterday.

Cik Milah is my dad's cousin, she had cancer. We aren't really close to her, but we did visit her when we got to know she was sick.

So my mom went to visit last night, and found SO MANY COINCIDENCES!

We got to know of both deaths at the exact same spot, around the same time, eating the same food, with the same circumstances (husband work survey, me from work)
Both passed away at 1750hr.
Both were 51 years old.
Both were sick in the hospital, but passed away once they were home.
Both were using using the oxygen machine thing.
Both had a daughter as a firstborn and a son after that.

I mean, seriously?! It wd be funkier if she passed away on Monday, then it's like WOAH SUPER SIMILAR!

It feels like a lot of people have left us this year. And, it feels really weird if you think, now I'm in the office, and her family should now be at pusara, the world still goes on, while you feel like yours is being turned upside down or something. That wasn't phrased correctly, but I hope you get what I mean, it's just really weird if you think about it.

Anyway. Al-fateha buat Cik Milah. May she, and my aunt and those who have left us, have a smooth journey to Jannah. Amin.
