In point form.
* Everyone in the house is down with some sort of illness - Baba has flu and mild migraine, Sufia has fever and runny nose, Hyder has watery eyes, and I have a VERY stuffy nose. I think it's due to the haze, and Sufia might be growing teeth, maybe. U know what they say, babies always get fever when they are growing teeth. I think.
* Sufia stood up for the first time (with the help of a table!) on Saturday morning. I was in the kitchen when it happened, and Hyder shouted at me "MUMMEE CEPAT COME HERE!" and then when I ran out, she was happily leaning on the table and trying to reach for whatever she can get. GRR. But sooo cute lah. And wowowowow my baby is only 8 months old! Masha'Allah!

Just bought insurance for the our HDB mortgage loan. I know, 3 years too late! Haha. But Alhamdulillah nothing happened in the past 3 years, so ok lah. We already have the insurance for fire, theft, etc. This new one is in case either spouse dies or whatever, we don't have to continue paying for the house loan. I'm not good with insurance stuff, so I tend to think of it as unimportant, but this has always been one of the most important ones to me, so that in case anything happens to my darling husband, the house is protected already and my kids still have a home.
* Signed up for longer school hours for Hyder next year. Normal school curriculum, and then I added an hour (each day) of partial montessori and something called ICP (I forgot what it stands
for, haha) I hope it will be fun for him.
* Mazee, Fi & baby Ayra are back from their year long stay in UK! Fetched them at the airport on Saturday afternoon. Now we gotta set some playdates, Insha'Allah!
* Fried white beehoon and pepsi lemon chicken for the potluck dinner at Tinda's house last night. Added too little salt to the beehoon. Feel a bit embarassed, but it was almost finished by the time we went back, so Alhamdulillah.
* Went to Courts yesterday to find out what's wrong with the Dolce Gusto. Turns out the motor is spoilt, and they have no more stock in store (for us to exchange with), and so we had to top up some cash for another machine, so we chose the Nespresso one. Hyder saw a spongebob toaster and wanted to get it. I didn't allow, but after he went "please Baba, pleaseeee" and cried a bit on his baba, of course the suami relented. Last night they made toasted nutella sandwiches, and Hyder said it was reeeally yummy and his bread had a picture of spongebob on it, and "mummy, you know what?? It's sooo crunchy!"

* Bad tudung day today. Me no happee.
