Travelling withdrawal symptoms :(

It's been 3 months since the last hol and I'm having severe withdrawal symptoms!  Haha!

This year alone Alhamdulillah we have done that twice, and let me just say I MISS THIS so much!  I mean, it was tiring, it was kecoh to the max, it honestly was such a hassle haha, but I love the anticipation, the preps that go into travelling... although it is crazy lah, we spent nearly as much on the preps, in fact I think more than what we spent on the trip itself, haha!

I miss holidaying so much that last night I started looking at Korea pictures, hohmaigawd rindu teramat!!  Honestly Korea isn't a destination that I would choose for us, even though I love Korean movies (and who doesn't love that crazee song Gangnam Style? Haha)   Would I go Korea again?  No, I don't think so.  I usually choose destinations by the food that we can eat there, and Korea has such limited choices.  I love the weather though, but we can get winter elsewhere too...

My men posing with the pots to make kimchi!

Hyder & Baba trying out traditional Korean farming equipments, haha!  Hyder was so cute there, he wanted to pose nonstop with all sorts of things, haha!

At our hotel lobby at IP Boutique Hotel, Itaewon.  These swings were so cool!  (Excuse the way I'm sitting.... hard to sit demurely when you have the baby attached to u.. haha!)

At the lobby of Lotte Jeju Hotel.  Super love this hotel!!

Baby-wearing doesn't mean you can't do stuff, haha!  I managed to put in the arrow into the hole successfully on my first try!

Back then Sufia was only 2.5 months, so she was asleep most of the times, esp in that winter coveralls she has on, must be damn snuggly, haha.  However at Australia she was 5 months already and didn't really want to be carried in the carrier anymore.  Grrr.

Some mommies have emailed / IG me and asked where did I get winter clothes for the kids.  Just to share, I got most of Sufia's winter stuff at Mothercare.  We started stocking up in Feb / March, so most of the stuff were on sale.  (Go to Mothercare Harbourfront!)  We bought a jacket for Hyder $99, and a couple of weeks later, the exact same jacket was on halfprice!  (We ended up buying a pink one for Sufia, very tak perlu, haha!  She only wore it in Australia at night when temp got really cold.)

For Hyder, we bought mostly from Esprit, Gap & Mothercare.  His longjohns were from the Winterwear outlet at Vivo, the smallest they have is XS I think, it's for kids around 2 years old, but Hyder wore them to both India&Kashmir (he was a month away from turning 2 then) and Korea (he was 4 years old then)

But then Hyder has always been small-sized.  But what I'm trying to say here is that the longjohns is kindof stretchable, and can fit for quite some time so it's worth it lah, haha.

Esprit & Gap stocks up a lot of winterwear around Dec ... but if your trip is sometime towards the end of winter, then might as well go for the end of season sale!  Save some money so we can spend more at the destination itself!

Hohmaigawwwd I miss holiday packing now.... :(

We are only going to nearby KL at the end of this year, to lend some support to my sister Haliza for her bowling tournament at Sunway.  We have been discussing whether to drive up or fly... and on 2nd thoughts,  I told Husband we are just going to drive up.  If we were to fly, it's going to be just a short flight, but tak sanggup the preps just for a short flight.

Plus it's just easier to dump everything into the boot and drive off!  Haha.
