One Market!

My mom has been wanting to go to One Market for the longest time, and yesterday she finally managed to get thru and booked a table for 8 (for the whole family.)  Then it turns out my aunt and cousins were joining us too, so it became a table for 16.

We haven't had a family dinner like this for the longest time.  Usually it's just family gatherings at chalets and such, so yesterday was extra fun, and it felt kinda special coz everyone looked so dressed up and all  -- I love such things lah, haha.

My little girl LOVES handbags.  Even plastic bags at home also she use as a handbag, so kesian punya pasal, we bought for her her first handbag everrrr, haha.

So, One Market by Chef Wan.  Was the food good?  As far as expensive food go (and I'm not really a fan of expensive food) Carousel is still my favourite, but One Market comes in a close second.  Granted, One Market isn't really expensive considering it's buffet (SGD38++ per person, I think, for dinner on PH) but it is expensive if you compare to ... hawker food?  Haha!

My favourite there was the sago in coconut milk, I had sooo many tiny plates of it.  Sooooo suka sangat!  I also liked the sushi, and the crabmeat tempura.  The rendang and chicken in thai curry was also yummy.

It's SO hard to get a nice family picture!  And my sister Aisyah is a total fail photographer la.

The roasted chicken was also quite nice.  I did not try the roasted lamb or cold seafood.  Actually honestly I did not try lots of stuff, I think.... coz thinking back I feel like I only had lots of crabmeat tempura and sago in coconut milk haha!

The ambience was also a bit cute, lots of gamelan music or something, all those angklong sounds...

Would we come back again?  That's always the ultimate test for the Husband and I, if it's a yes, that means the food's good.

And yes we decided we would visit again.  It's cheap (compared to other buffets) and quite yummeh, so yeah.

There's a prayer area near the staircase with 2 sejadahs, but no wudhu area (you gotta take it at toilet).  Bring your own telekong or socks or whatever.

One Market is located at the new extension of PS.  Hv fun, if u go!
