Suddenly this year our weekly schedule seems so packed. We used to be SO free on weeknights that we kinda got bored honestly, it just feels like our life is made up of work and sleep, but suddenly this year we have activities on every single night, that we have to schedule our time properly every day after work if let's say we have additional plans (like, u know, buying dinner or groceries)

This also means I almost have no time to do laundry on weeknights, so on weekends we have to set aside a huge chunk of time just for laundry. Me no likey.

We used to have Tuesdays free, but starting  last week was the Husband's new ngaji class at home for just men. Which means I'm free, but then not really, coz I still have to look after the kids ALONE. I mean, the Husband is home lah but he's in the room with all the other men, so I have to put the kids to sleep myself and let me tell you, the routine is just so never-ending sometimes - milk in a cup for Hyder, milk in a bottle for Sufia, pajamas for the kids, toilet time for Hyder, change diapers for Sufia, read doa tido and (sometimes if I remember) surah-surah that the Husband ensures Hyder reads each night before sleep (I tend to be more laid-back, haha. I just want them to sleep ASAP so I can finally rest too)

On Monday nights Hyder has his I Can Read class at Bedok, so we usually have some one-to-one time with Sufia after sending him to  his class. Solat at nearby masjid, and then dinner somewhere nearby also.

Last night was Masjid Aleem Siddique and there was a class going on in the prayer hall, and I told Sufia to sshhhh keep quiet while I solat, and she walked around the masjid with one finger stuck up her nose telling people sshhh also. Grr. She hasn't really learned the ssshhh action well, haha.

Tuesday is the new ngaji class for men.

Wednesday is Husband's soccer night. He usually brings Hyder so I will have some time with Sufia. If she sleeps early, I will have some time to do laundry if I'm not too tired, but usually I will just read a book. It's SOOO hard to find some time to read a book when you are at home with 2 kids and a husband who requires 1001 things from you at any one time!

(But you know, Alhamdulillah for this. I'm blessed to have my tiny family so kecoh and the house so messy. Heh)

Thursday is another ngaji night, which is for males & females. My cousins and sisters come over and ngaji with us. An ustazah comes over to teach.

Friday is our night class at my cousin's house, learning Arabic. This one is really fun, and I kinda have (too high) hopes that in a few years I might be able to converse in super basic Arabic, Insha'Allah! Hahaha!

I kinda like that our weeknights are so busy, but like this week there's a Robinsons sale at Expo, and I told the Husband I wanna go, and he said sure, but we were like .. hmmm when can we go?? Weekends are out coz wait too crowded. Sigh.

Maybe I should go tmrw with Sufia while he plays soccer.
